Fun with Hang Time

Hang time is low long the ball is in the air. Rebound height is how high the ball bounces. Hang time and rebound height are related, but they are not the same measurement. It is important not to get the two terms mixed up, as both are discussed in the results of the drop tests, and Dunlop uses hang time in their advertising.

Hang time changes at a different rate than rebound height. From the rebound height in the drop test, hang time can be calculated with the following equation:

The relative hang time of each ball was calculated at a surface temperature of 95f. The hang time of each ball was then compared to the Pro.
